DR. JC BANERJEE AUDITORIUM
The Dr. JC Banerjee Auditorium is a spacious and well-equipped venue, measuring 160 by 65 feet, with a seating capacity of 1,200. It serves as the focal point for many of Gurukul’s prestigious events, particularly the highly anticipated Annual Function held each December. This auditorium has become a vital space where students can showcase their talents, presenting a range of performances in front of an appreciative audience of peers, teachers, and family members. Its carefully designed layout and grand stage provide optimal visibility, ensuring that every performance can be enjoyed from any seat in the house.
Over the years, the auditorium has witnessed countless memorable performances, underscoring Gurukul's commitment to cultivating artistic expression alongside academics. The grand stage, visible throughout the hall, enhances each event, making it the perfect setting for cultural, educational, and celebratory gatherings. The Dr. JC Banerjee Auditorium is not just a venue; it's a space that brings the Gurukul community together, fostering creativity, confidence, and pride in each student.
At Gurukul, co-curricular activities are a vibrant part of our school experience, enriching students' lives and nurturing talents beyond academics.
Throughout the year, students engage in individual and group performances in dance, music, and drama, showcasing their creativity and skill, especially during the much-anticipated Annual Function each December.
Beyond the stage, our students actively participate in initiatives that make a difference. Recently, students dedicated a week to a Cleanliness Drive, emphasizing the importance of hygiene and environmental responsibility.
Additionally, the Plantation Drive encourages students to plant and nurture trees both on campus and at home, fostering a lifelong commitment to sustainability.
Each of these activities is designed to cultivate compassionate, responsible, and globally aware citizens, fully prepared for tomorrow's world.
